One of the most exciting parts of the Christian life is learning to invest our gifts and abilities in building God's Kingdom.  God designed us so that as we invest ourselves in the work He destined for us, we discover a deep joy and satisfaction as we glorify God by actually partnering with him in His work.  "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  Ephesians 2:10

This use of our spiritual gifts in serice to others is what we call "Ministry", or as the Bible says, "faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms."
